This project has been completed and has opened in a historic downtown Rochester building with the contributions from my design as well as three other chosen students’ work in our exhibition design class. Some of my central ideas included hardwood floors on a white palette, displaying work on movable, partitioned walls as well as adding large screens that double as projection screens for events diffusing light in the front windows. The space allows for banquet and event settings as well, so the artwork can be displayed while these events take place.
